No 2: THE TRUE DREAMERS

I find it curious that for us, the true dreamers, the time of the peak of our thoughts is at dawn, however, not while we are asleep.

I find it curious that my dreams and craziest desires occur at the same time as the rest of the world and even at the same setting (my bed), but while the dreams of the rest contribute to their recharging of energy, mine don't let me close my eyes and sleep.

I find the word “daydreaming” curious because it refers to the act of dreaming while being awake, but the times I do it are never during the day.

I find curious the enormous world of ideas that forms around me in the small space of my room.

I find it curious that the rest of the world sleeps peacefully in their beds dreaming of fairies and dragons and feeling part of the story while I, awake, dream of my future and feel miles away from it.

I find it curious to think that there are few of us who dream at dawn (those who truly dream at dawn), because around me there is not a voice or sound that indicates there is someone else like me being tormented by their own thoughts and dreams. It may be that there are people having nightmares, but mine are illuminated by the light of consciousness while the rest are hidden somewhere in their subconscious making it possible to be forgotten when daylight comes.

I find curious the simple question about whether it is better to dream accompanied by consciousness or without it.
