i am white. and i will never truly understand. i will never experience life the same way a black person does and that’s not fair. life has never been made fair to black people. the system was built to be unfair to black people. and it frustrates me. i am an ally to the black community. i will spend my whole life learning. i will spend my whole life caring and acting. change takes time. it takes dedication, not just a temporary post on an instagram story. i will teach my children love not hate, peace not violence, and i hope you will do the same because history is repeating itself and the government is not helping fix it. https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co/
